ASP ScaffStep® is a unique safety product designed for use within scaffold structures.
Suitable for all scaffold types including independents, façade and birdcages.
The ScaffStep® is suitable for connection onto circular tubes of nominal diameter of 48.3mm and suits
guardrail heights between 0.95m and 1.05m above boarded level.
ScaffStep® methodology is recommended in NASC publication SG4:05 Appendix A.
ScaffStep® offers an alternative method of scaffold erection as the Health and Safety Executive no longer find
the "tunnelling" or "traversing" method an acceptable method.
Designed in accordance with EN131 ScaffStep® allows installation of upper level guardrails in advance of any decking elements
therefore ensuring full protection is acheived PRIOR to any operatives requiring access onto that level.
ScaffStep® is manufactured from structural grade aluminium for high strength and can safely support loads of
150kg. Installation is simple, a '1 click' operation is all that is required and ScaffStep® folds away neatly
for transportation and storage. EU and UK registered design. Patent pending.
